IF YOU GIVE A MOUSE A COOKIE

Jenny Wiley Theatre and Toyota Motor Manufacturing proudly announce the 2010 Theatre-on-Wheels touring production of IF YOU GIVE A MOUSE A COOKIE. Based on the popular children’s story by Laura Joffe Numeroff, MOUSE has become a favorite of families across the nation. The performance will be at the Country Music Highway Museum in Paintsville on Setpember 10th at 7 PM.

Playwright Jody Davidson has wonderfully adapted the story for stage. MOUSE takes you on a journey of messy, side-splitting hilarity. For children, it’s a time for the free, joyful sort of chaos grown-ups frown on in real life. For grown-ups, it’s a freeing invitation to feel younger – even if just for a little while. Trying to single out a favorite moment in If You Give A Mouse A Cookie is kind of like trying to pick out the cutest puppy in the basket.

Jenny Wiley Theatre’s production stars 3 actors from the 2010 summer season, including Adam Thomas Hartsock as The Boy, Josey Montana McCoy as The Mouse, and Sara Bakay as the Mouse in the Mirror.

The Theatre-on-Wheels program brings a full production, including sets, sound, costumes and lights to a venue near you. Give your child this rare opportunity to experience live professional theatre right at home. IF YOU GIVE A MOUSE A COOKIE is appropriate for ages 4+. Run Time is approximately 50 minutes. Tickets are $6.00 for youth (under 18) and $8.00 for Adults and Seniors pre-reserved. All tickets will be an additional $2.00 each at the door. Seating is limited. For tickets, call 877-CALL-JWT.

Theatre-on-Wheels Tour made possible in part by a grant from Toyota Motor Manufacturing and support from the Kentucky Arts Council.
